Filipino Celebrities Who Lost Their Lives At Young Age

We can’t deny the fact that life is precious. It is a gift that should be cherished while it lasts. In this world, there are people who have lots of money and there are also people who are not lucky.

We know it is really painful if this happens. Some people also lost their lives at young age, even celebrities and rich people is not exempted when your time has come.

Here’s the list of Filipino Celebrities who lost their lives at young age:

1. Rico Yan (1975 – 2002)
This matinee idol was the on-screen partner and ex-boyfriend of actress Claudine Barretto.

Rico Yan met his untimely death on March 29, 2002 in his hotel room after attending a party. Yan was believed to have suffered a ‘bangungot‘ but autopsy report shows that Yan died of cardiac arrest caused by acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis.

2. AJ Perez (1993 – 2011)
AJ Perez was an ABS-CBN talent who appeared in several starring roles on TV and movies.

He died on April 17, 2011 at the age of 18 years old, and he died after a highway accident.

3. Marky Cielo (1988 – 2008)
Marky Cielo was the season 3 winner of the artista reality search Startruck and the first known Igorot in Philippine showbiz.

He died on December 7, 2008 at the age of 20 years old, and his cause of death remains unknown and was subject to public speculation.

4. Miko Sotto (1982 – 2003)
Marcelino Antonio “Miko” Carag Sotto III was a matinee idol. A part of the prominent Sotto clan, he was the son of radio commentator/TV host Ali Sotto and nephew of Vic and Tito Sotto.

 

He died after falling from the ninth floor of the condominium unit he was living in for 4 years in Mandaluyong City.

5. Alfie Anido (1959 – 1981)
Alfie Anido was a matinee idol and one of the Regal Babies.

He died on December 30, 1981, just one day short before his 22nd birthday.

6. Arvin “Tado” Jimenez (1974 – 2014)
Tado was a comedian primarily known for his radio program BrewRATs! and TV show Strangebrew.

On February 17, 2014, a bus fell off a road in Sitio Paggang, in Bontoc, Mountain Province. 14 people were killed including Tado and two artists.
He was planning to write about his Mountain Province trip in his book titled “40 Mountains” before he died in the accident.

7. Julie Vega (1968 – 1985)
Julie Vega was an award-winning teen actress in the 80s who was best remembered in her portrayal of the title character in the GMA TV drama, Anna Liza.

He died on May 6, 1985 at the age of 16 years old, and her cause of death is cardiac arrest.

8. Ramgen Revilla (1988 – 2011)
Ramgen Revilla was an actor and a member of the prominent Revilla clan.

He died on October 28, 2011 at the age of 23 years old, and he was unfortunately murdered.

9. Tenten Muñoz (1977 – 1996)
Tenten Muñoz was the original singer of the famous 90s hit ‘Kaba’, which is usually credited to Tootsie Guevarra.

She died in 1996 at the age of 19 years old, and she died in the midst of studying overseas.

10. Tyron Perez (1985 – 2011)
Tyron Perez, was a Filipino model, actor and television host and an alumnus of the reality-based talent search StarStruck.

He died on December 29, 2011 at the age of 26 years old, and he committed suicide.
